Press Release January 20, 2010
Fergus Ontario Canada
We here at Snakebite Racing are pleased to announce our latest sponsor, Airtab®, to come on board for the 2010-racing season. “The addition of Airtabs™ will only make our team stronger and faster this year,” said Brian Heans crew chief for Snakebite Racing. Airtabs™ are a vortex generator that helps reduce drag at the back of your vehicle. We plan to use Airtabs™ on our truck as well as our car hauler. With placement of Airtabs™ on our racecar this year we hope to have a slight winning advantage with a more consistent car on the ¼ mile.
Snakebite Racing along with Airtabs™ will be at the Mid America Truck Show in Louisville, KY. The show runs March 25th thru the 27th 2010.
After show hours on Friday March 26th, over in the Papa Johns parking lot, there will be a demonstration on just how easy it is to install your own set of Airtabs™. We look forward to meeting everyone there to talk about Airtabs™ and drag racing. This is also were you can meet Brian “the Brain” one of the youngest Crew Chiefs in the IHRA
As the road to Louisville Continues.
You can become a sponsor of Snakebite Racing for just 1 dollar. ( and 2 stamps if you are in the USA). How you ask? By placing a dollar bill in an envelope ( say with a card of some kind Valentine cards would work this month) and mail it to Bob. It is perfectly legal to mail as much as 100$ in 20 dollar bills to Canada. ( it takes 2 first class stamps tho).
Bobs address is

The Truckin Bozo conference call number. | 09 Mar 10 |
23:05:51 by Yoda | Views: 8 | Comments: 0
We are experimenting with a conference number. It is open 24/7
It is used at different hours of the day and night by different groups of drivers to chat with each other as they drive.
The room can be moderated, but is usually not except in the "prime time hours from after dales' show till midnight and afternoons and nights Saturday and Sunday.
To access the conference dial 605 475 4850 when it answerers it will ask for an access code which is 247905#... Please tell people who you are when you hear the door bell.

Some Tips on buying a new computer | 06 Dec 09 |
02:08:46 by The Bozo | Views: 430 | Comments: 6
I now have a copy of Windows 7-Ultimate but I can't install it on any of my PC's because I have to install new drivers for all my peripherals (hardware) to make it operate with Windows 7. My advice to you is to search around for a 64 bit computer. It'll say on the label 64bit CPU. This gives you twice the computing power of your old computer which is a 32 bit CPU.
Another great thing with the 64 bit computers is, you can put up to 32gigs of ram in your PC and with a 32bit CPU you can only use 3.5 gigs of ram. The ram effectively takes the program your working with and puts the whole program into the chips in the ram and you are no longer using the hard drive as much. It makes the hard drive last much longer and it makes the program operate many times faster. You can also do much more multitasking with a 64 compared to a 32.
My 32 bit PC will only allow me to open about ten instances of Internet Explorer and put a news story on each instance and then minimize them and wait to read them on the air. My 64 bit has allowed me to open up over 70 instances of Internet Explorer at one time and it doesn't even work up a sweat. The 64 bit CPU's will run your old programs off of your current machine and will subsequently run the 64 bit programs when they come out and the cost is almost the same as the old 32 bit machines. They are hard to find though.
I found two of them at Walmart the other day, one had 8 gigs of ram, a 640 gig hard drive, cd/dvd player and recorder and an operating speed of 3.2gigahertz. The price was only 678 dollars. I damn near bought it but Lumpy would have taken the frying pan to me and besides that, I'll wait untill they get all the bugs worked out before I buy it. They come equipped with Windows 7 pre-installed and all reports say it's the best operating system yet, but my one 64 bit machine in the studio with Vista Ultimate has never given me any problems whatsoever and I've had it for over 2 years. It puts the 32 bit machines to shame.
One tip to the wise. Walmart has lower prices but they don't have a geek squad, so if something goes wrong, the PC has got to be shipped off to a repair facility and you might be without a PC for a few weeks. At Best Buy you may pay 100 dollars more for the same machine but if it takes a dump on you , just take it to the store and sometimes they can fix it while you wait and if not, they'll usually tell you to come back tomorrow, so it's wise to pay the extra 99 dollars for a 3 year insurance policy from Best Buy and if they have to fix it, there is no charge. If the hard drive goes bad, no charge. If anythings goes bad, no charge and no charge for labor. Keep these facts in mind when shopping.
Lastly, do not try to install Windows 7 over XP as it doesn't work worth a damn. I strongly recommend that if you want Win 7 on your PC take it to Best Buy and let them do all the work, it'll save you hours of headaches. Merry Christmas and if you don't yet have a computer, save yourself a lot of trouble and buy a Macintosh as your first PC. It's the best going and that's why Microsoft keeps changing their operating systems, in hopes of gaining the reliability of a Mac, but as they say in the south..."That dog don't hunt".
